Remove text from a video online: a quick guide, free to try
Removing text from a video no longer needs expensive editing software or hours of frame-by-frame work. With an online remover you upload the video, mark what you want gone and download the result.
The difference between a good result and a smudgy one comes down to two things: only erasing where there really is text and filling with the real background instead of a blurry patch.
A real example

The same frame before and after removing the subtitles with eraseli. The hills move and the background is rebuilt by copying the real pixels from other frames.
Try with 3 free minutes
No card. The 3-second preview is always free.
Step by step
- Open the editor and upload the video. It works in the browser, on your phone too. Nothing to install.
- Choose how to erase. Erase in area (you draw a box), Erase subtitles (the engine finds the band) or Full removal (all on-screen text, except on products and objects).
- Adjust the timing. Each box has a block on the timeline: move and stretch it to decide from when to when it is erased.
- Try the free preview. 3 seconds from the playhead, without spending minutes.
- Erase and download. You see before and after side by side and download the video with its audio.
Three modes for three cases
A logo or a fixed title: Erase in area. The subtitles of a whole video: Erase subtitles. A video with lots of different texts: Full removal, which keeps the text that is part of the scene (labels, signs, T-shirts).
What to expect
If the background behind the text is visible at other moments (because the camera moves or the text comes and goes), the result is almost perfect. If a text covers the same spot for the whole video over a complex background, the part that is never seen is rebuilt with AI and may show a little when paused.
